Ark's Textured proSpoon is a specialized feeding utensil designed by feeding therapist Debbie Lowsky, MS, CCC-SLP, to facilitate easy feeding and effective food removal for young children. It has that same spoon bowl that we know and love in The Textured Spoon Tip (an attachment for the Z-Vibe, both sold separately), but now it's available as a standalone non-vibratory spoon.
The spoon features gentle bumps on the back of the bowl to help transition children from puréed to textured foods, stimulate the tongue and lower lip, and provide added tongue stability.
The proSpoon (Textured) is designed for therapists, parents, and caregivers working with individuals who have feeding difficulties or are developing self-feeding skills. Its thoughtful design and appropriate sizing make it a valuable tool in feeding therapy and daily use. A smooth non-textured version of the proSpoon is available separately here.
This is not a vibrating spoon. If you're looking for the vibrating spoon, please click here instead.
Caution: this therapeutic tool is intended to be used by a professional therapist or by parents trained by their therapist. Direct adult supervision is required at all times.
