What's My Toughness Level?

ARK chew tools come in 3 color-coded toughness levels:

• Soft / Standard - This is the softest level, with the most "squishiness" and "give" to them. Usually we recommend going with the softest/standard level by default, unless someone chews through or causes damage to anything else they chew on (chews through pencils, chews holes in shirts, etc.), in which case the XT level would be longer lasting.
• XT / Medium Firm - It's firmer, but still chewy, for persons who chew through / cause damage to things they currently chew on (chews holes in shirts, chews through pencils, etc.). Or, for individuals working on building jaw strength who eventually "graduate" from the standard to the XT
• XXT / Super Firm - This is the longest lasting level for avid chewing. While still has some "chewability" to it, it's relatively rigid. Therefore, we only recommend starting off with XXT if you know you / your child likes chewing on tough things or can chew through pretty tough items (like legos, hard plastic toys, wood, etc.) or have chewed through the XT level already. These are the firmest and provide the most resistance to the jaw.  No chew tool is indestructible, but these are very tough and the longest-lasting option for avid chewing. If you or your child manage to chew through it eventually, then the child the Y-Chew XXT is usually the overall longest lasting chew for most avid chewers.
