ARK's Z Vibe Mini Tip is the perfect tool for speech pathologists and caregivers working with babies and toddlers who need support with their oral awareness. This smaller version of the Probe Tip – Ark’s most versatile tip attachment for the Z-Vibe® - features three different surfaces: bumpy, striated, and smooth.
The gentle pressure that the Mini Tip provides on gums, palate, cheeks, tongue, and lips can help "wake up" a child's mouth if they are hypersensitive in this space. This input can help build their oral awareness over time. Likewise, if a child is hypersensitive to oral input, the Mini Tip can help them become more comfortable with sensations near their face through stimulation in small doses.
The Mini Tip is recommended for children up to the age of 2.5 years. For older children and adults, Ark recommends the Probe Tip that has the same shape but is larger in size.
